Sylvan Esso, North Carolina duo made up of singer Amelia Meath and beat maker/producer Nick Sanborn, performed a perfect set to the sold out Ogden Theater last week.
The indie group bounced and shook the stoked crowd with their infectious electronic dance synth-pop tunes. Amelia, the captivating vocalist, swayed, danced, and hopped the night away while she crooned each line with pure and flawless stamina. The second half of this sensation matched and maintained the energy of the crowd with instrumentals so catchy that they are impossible to not groove to.
Sylvan Esso played their biggest and well known songs, such as the new release Radio as well as popular tune Hey Mami, as well as other big dance songs that kept the room rocking all night.
Opening the night was Baltimore based Flock of Dimes, the solo project fronted by singer/songwriter Jenn Wasner. Her unique and dynamic approach to writing and performing was the ideal compliment to the evening at The Ogden.
